Welcome to the 4Fitness event page!  This is where you find information on Demo Days, Pop-Up events, and scheduled Group Classes.

About every 6 weeks or so, 4Fitness hosts scheduled studio visits so you can experience 4Fitness and meet Tracie Thompson (nominated for best personal trainer in Best of the Bay).  These “demo days” are a great way to learn about the benefits of working out in a private fitness setting that is very different from typical gyms. Try exercises with equipment like TRX, Surf Set, Heavy Ropes, and more.  Check our calendar for upcoming demos and reserve your 30 minute private visit.

Parking and studio access for all events is in the back of the building. I look forward to seeing you at an event!

FLY Bungee Training is so much fun you will forget you are exercising all while burning a ton of calories.  FLY classes are beginner friendly and can provide intensity for more experienced exercisers.  Classes will be 30 minutes of exercise ((classes are 45 minutes to allow time for setup) and have up to 6 participants.

Fly classes use a harness (that goes around the waist hip and thigh areas) to attach to the bungee, choose clothing that is not likely to bunch or ride up, this will help you feel comfortable.  Proper set up for your bungee will require us to weigh you and fit you with a harness (multiple sizes available) before class.  If you prefer this can be done during a separate private appointment.  Bring a towel and water, but don’t worry if you forget we have you covered.

Revolution Express is 30 minutes of cycling fun for beginners and those short on time.  The express class is a great way to take Revolution out for a spin, build your endurance for a longer class, or just squeeze a little extra exercise in. Revolution classes will only have 6 participants per class and are geared for all skill levels. The intimate class size will allow for proper set up of every bike for it’s rider and instruction on how to get the most benefit from the session.

There are some items you may want to bring with you like; water, sweat towel and gel seat cover (gel covers not available at 4Fitness).

Flow & Align Yoga @ 4Fitness

Flow & Align Yoga

This class is ideal for almost all levels of physical fitness – from the beginner to advanced, or younger to older student, or simply those seeking a more active lifestyle. As we allow ourselves to take our time in a slower-paced yoga practice, we find that our muscles become more supple with alignment based yoga, our breath deepens, enlivens, and invigorates, and our entire being shifts towards a state of greater balance. Stay at your own pace, do only what you feel comfortable with, use yoga props or forego the use of props for more advanced practitioners, and take breaks whenever YOU need them. Variations will be given for each posture so that the student can tailor the practice to his or her needs, abilities, or physical limitations. Moderate use of props suggested.

Lyn Kirkman-200 RYT, Usui Reiki Master, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®, Aerial, & Yin Yoga Certified

Lyn started practicing yoga over 3 years ago while seeking a more spiritual and physical way to heal & connect with her inner self. At the time she would have no idea just how much yoga would transform her entire life and well-being. She immediately fell in love with her practice and how it made her feel mentally, physically, and spiritually. She knew she had to share this amazing gift with others. She then decided to study yoga and become an instructor, so she would be able to share all the powerful and joyful benefits of yoga with others. Lyn’s journey also allowed her to deepen her practice as an energy healer by way of Reiki. Lyn practices this ancient Japanese technique daily on herself and others. She encourages others to come and be apart of the same transformation whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner seeking to deepen their passion for yoga.

Lyn enjoys teaching all levels and styles of yoga and has an array of certifications she has obtained over the years. Lyn is continuing her journey to deepen her own practice and education as she starts her RYT500 in 2018 (The Lotus Pond, Tampa, FL). She also plans to visit India, as well as travel abroad to other countries, to gain a deeper sense, knowledge, and understanding of yoga and yoga history in Eastern cultures (where yoga originated). She is forever grateful for her experiences thus far and for being given the opportunity to share and witness the yoga experience with others.
